First Geotagged Trip is Online!
We've been experimenting with Geotagging our pictures. If you are not familiar with Geotagging, it's the practice of adding longitude and latitude data to your pictures so you can cross reference them on a map. Google has made it easier by integrating Picasa, Google Earth, and Google Maps.
You can check out our first Geotagged pictures at the Valley of Fire National Park in Nevada! After following the link, you can click on the push pins on the satellite image to see the exact spot where we took the picture. It's the Google Maps interface, so you can pan and zoom as you like. You can tell by the push pin clusters that some areas were more photogenic than others. :)
