PCB West 2007 classes let out early!

I attended PCB West in Santa Clara, CA (Silicon Valley) from March 26-30. Luckily for Mike and I, the classes on Wednesday ended around 2PM. We took this opportunity to drive 45 minutes south through the mountains to Santa Cruz. The weather was perfect, especially for two guys from Pennsylvania.

We then drove the Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1) up the coast to San Francisco. If you're ever in this area, this drive is a must! The views along the jagged coastline are spectacular.

After paying a small fee to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, we were able to perform a u-turn and drive up to an overlook in the Golden Gate National Recreational Area.

San Francisco is a very beautiful city; the water, hills, trolleys, like the Pittsburgh of the west. If it weren't for the earthquakes, it would be perfect. I've been fortunate to travel here a half dozen times or more for work. Hopefully the next trip will be with Mel as she is very jealous.
